Employment at the Fort Wayne International Airport

The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority's primary mission is to administrate and maintain the Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) and Smith Field Airport (SMD). The Airport Authority consists of five departments including Administration, Public Safety, Maintenance Custodial and Smith Field. We have a total of 62 full-time positions and several part time and temporary positions. 

Please understand that the Airport Authority hires only for its own positions. The Airport Authority has a tenant relationship with many other employers (i.e., airlines, car rentals, passenger screening, control tower, restaurant/gift shop, fixed base operators, cargo carriers, and other employers). All these employers do their own hiring and must be contacted individually.
