The Fort Wayne International Airport has a new state of the art U.S. Customs and Immigration facility located at the north west corner of the Cargo Sort Building. This facility dramatically increases the capabilities of the U.S. Customs office here in Fort Wayne. The facility is staffed with one to two Customs officers and can handle cargo and crew clearances for any type of aircraft. The new facility can also accommodate all the services to the public and general aviation aircraft that was offered at the former Mercury Air East location.

General aviation corporate and cargo flights wishing to clear US Customs in Fort Wayne should contact U.S. Customs in advance of their arrival by calling (260) 747-7276. Normal office hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time. Customs also offers after hours clearances but they are subject to overtime charges.
